If by "weird" you mean "squished," then you're not alone. Honestly, I find it extremely annoying. I know it makes it easier on devs since they know exactly what resolution they're working with, but as an end user, having half of my screen space suddenly filled with black and all of my content squished really bugs me.

If by "weird" you mean "squished," then you're not alone. Honestly, I find it extremely annoying. I know it makes it easier on devs since they know exactly what resolution they're working with, but as an end user, having half of my screen space suddenly filled with black and all of my content squished really bugs me.

We went to a "fixed width" because on wide screen monitors the text was running the whole length of the screen width. Looked terrible.

It's set at a 17" screen width resolution now I believe.
