That music, wasn't that from the 1992 movie " The Last of the Mohicans" ?

I probably would have given up on the presentation quicker but I just love Promontory and The Kiss. Trevor Jones ftw.

    Yep, Last of the Mohicans.

Good video, whats interesting about the advances of technology is what happens when all our jobs can be replaced by a robot. Will those at the top still control the wealth, those that created the robots? Will the government regulate how we live like a communistic society? Will we as a society change the way we live, removing any such ideas as a business, jobs, commerce, money from our lives and simply live without the need to forage, our every need taken care of? Would that work?

    Look here: http://marshallbrain.com/25000.htm

We need to adopt a basic income for all americans and the world.

The basic idea of a basic income is the basis for robotic nation:

    http://marshallbrain.com/robotic-nation.htm

For a more scientific approach to what is happening, known as the technological singularity, see this and this:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity

    and

    http://betterhumans.com/

If any of this becomes true, in less than 15 to 20 years, 50% of all jobs will be lost to machines. The multiplier effect is how fast we can reach human and smarter than human thinking in machines. If we fake AI good enough, say goodbye to millions of good paying jobs and millions of bad paying jobs.

IBM just developed an 80 core processor chip. "The singularity is near".

Follow the links to learn more. In the next 20 years or so we will be in a robotic nation, and will need a basic universal income because most thinking will be done by robotics and computers.

Humans will not be able to compete with machines once we program machines with general artificial inteligence.
