    Peer Guardian Necessary?

Well, I just got a letter from my ISP so I decided it would be best to give Peer Guardin 2 a try. After a little while, I began to question how necessary it is. I only use private torrent sites, do you think it really does anything? Thanks.

I use private sites too But I use a blocklist tighter than that of Peer Guardin. I have noticed that I get less traffic but no significant reduction in speed. And very lil in discarded data. Must be worth it or the stats would be different.

I've always used peerguardian, and wouldn't download torrents without it. I only use private sites too, but there are still lots of IPs it blocks

Never had any problems with PG2 except that it block BitMe, but then you just let it through.
