check out consolesource.com they have this new USB device where you don't have to open up your xbox360 (avoids warranty) and it fast and easiest way to flash your drive or update your firmware.

It just came out March 30,2007 and its called Xecuter Blaster!!

I think the reason why its so great is that its workable for both Hitachi and Samsung drive!

xbox 360 cannot run homebrew yet, some small hacks but nothing yet.

xbox 360 can be modded to run game copies. (Hacking the DVD Firmware)
