Meet cGrid, the real-time P2P punisher

The application is daunting to those caught in its snares, for it can boot users off the network in real-time if it suspects that they are engaging in P2P file sharing, or even if they are using so-called darknets. As you might expect, the entertainment industry loves it. (Digg and comment this)

One million bucks a cGrid install to find out who's sharing what, and boot those sharing stuff somebody doesn't want shared off the internet.

They're just talking universities now, but some want it's use mandated by congress. So if they succeed in having it's use mandated for schools, what's next? ISPs. China will love this gadget.
