Smile DVD to MPEG4 PC software suggestions

Morning / Afternoon / Evening Everyone.
Can anyone suggest a free / Adware free DVD to MPEG4 converter for PC's.
I've had a video IPOD for 5 months, and no videos so it's time to sort it out.

Any help would be much appriecated.

AutoGK is easy to use and works well. It encodes from DVD to Xvid or Divx. Though, you'll still need something to use for DeCSS, like Ripit4me
