    AIM 5.9 and Vista

    I'm having problems with AIM 5.9 in Vista. It's not loading. I click it and nothing happens. I do not want to have to use 6.0, I hate 6.0!!

    Well, you can use AIM express or get the 6.1 beta.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I managed to get AIM 5.9 by setting the compatibility modes. However, I had to change the compatibility mode almost every reboot. I did that until a couple days ago. I ended up upgrading to AIM 6.1. It's a big improvement, and much more stable than AIM 6.0, which I of course despised.

    I hated 6.0 at first too, but I like it now. I recommend giving it another try.
