    3.1 Frequent Timed Out Notices?

    I just began using WinMX 3.1 (open networks) and I seem to get a lot of "Timed Out (Waiting for network reply or network connection)" notices. This even happens frequently with T1 and DSL connections. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Post You're connection...

    I was having the same problem until I switched my connection in the Winmx Peer Network Menu to a secondary connection. I have a relatively fast computer and it seemed it could not contend with all Winmx was throwing at me.
    When I switched my connection to a secondary connection... no more crashe, and less timed out downloads..(a greater success connecting) Still not 100% sure if it was the switch I made or coincedence though... :)
