:icon_scra I had to take my computer to be repaired.The shop said it had lost all data..,they said systems and hard drive were okay.When i tried to reboot with the opperating discs nothing happened.Could there be a fault in these discs and if so what can i do.

Reboot and go into the setup options. [There will be a message as the computer boots telling you what key to hit to enter setup.]

Make sure that cd is a boot option; #2 or #3 on boot preference. Exit saving changes.

If that isn't the issue, then report back.
