    Installing a program

when you download/install a program and cancel in the middle of installation. Does part of the program remain on your hard drive? How can you tell? thanks

a good installer should roll back the things it does

have a look in ure prog files for the software/company name etc

if u find anything do a quick search of ure registry for the offending article and see if there is anything there too

if ure not comfortable playing with things like this

i sugest u install the prog then properly uninstall it (as long as u know it is safe)

Microsoft.net is nothing to be afraid of, it is the successor to Visual basic. All the framework does is provide the resources and link libraries required to run programs written in the .net framework.

I would go ahead and reinstall the program, things will be a lot easier for you down the road if you have .net installed.
