Has anyone used this? A friend of mine sings its praises (and they are self declared tech deity) but I find it difficult to imagine reliable video being sent over a 384 KBs upstream or even 768. Or have I misunderstood what this product does.

I travel a ton and was just wondering if this is a useful product or a pet rock.
