    Resume closed torrents in Azureus

    Hi,

I had a 3 gb torrent downloading, and when it was at 99.4% completed I accidentally closed the torrent instead of stopping it. Is there any way to re-open the torrent file and continue the download without starting from zero again?

    So , you haven't deleted anything ?
If you haven't , you should still have the .torrent-file somewhere,
    the default location is : documents&settings/yourusername/application data/Azureus/torrents
just doubleclick it or drag and drop to Azureus and it should start again ..
If you don't have the .torrent-file but still have the data you need to download the .torrent-file
again and make sure to SAVE to the location of the data . Az will recheck the DL and get the
    last pieces ..

I loaded the torrent back into azureus, but its trying to start from zero % again. I made a backup of the torrent and the data before I put the torrent back into azureus though.

Yes , but did Azureus prompt you where to save the data?
You need to tell it to save to the same location as where your inclompete torrent (the data)is ..
Then you should see Az starting the DL and recheck the pieces you already have .
I don't know how else to explain it , I've done it lots of times
and it works for me ...

    Sorry for not replying sooner.

I had azureus set to automatically download data into a specific folder. I had to turn that feature off and choose the partially completed torrents' folder manually, and the download continued from where it left off.

    Thanks for the help.

    I too facing similar problem!
I Stared a movie-downloading... and stopped the download, Removed the torrent from list as well as Delete the .torrent file from HDD.
Now I have only a folder with 12mb downloaded data.(even just replacing it dosen't worked out) after I tried it again, downloading the same torrent from torrentspy.com .
    Help!
