Comic books scanned and distributed would actually be good for the industry. If I was to read a comic rthat I liked via a scan online, I would actually go out and buy that comic and perhaps a few issues.

I feel overwhelmed sometimes when I go into my local comic store and see their huge selection of indie comics (about half the store), and it is difficult to just pick up a random issue and read one and then be "hooked" and know that one is right for you.

I am in, but I have no time now. But truly a great idea.

Yea.Well scaning of comics or atleast the community has only been around for 2 years.And mostly irc chans and ftps.But exit 68 made a comics hub after 2 went down and this other one had asshole ops .Well if you want to learn more about comic scans : http://ocd.conforums.com/ or http://www.cbscans.com/
