Seeker has released an alpha version of their new file sharring client.
Check it out at:
http://www.skyris.com/alpha.html
We have worked hard - this client is nearly a year's worth of research and development. Once we get the last few bugs out, it should scale to millions of users and be the best file sharing client available by a large margin. Please try it out and keep it running so we can discover the remaining bugs before our Beta release in a few weeks.
hey man,
I just tried it out and the first song I downloaded I was up to 85 kb/s,so I love it.I hope you guys get more people to download it so there will be more files.
people who cancel your download right before it finishes are losers.
Welcome to another invasive production from your friends and mine CYDOOR.
Well I suppose they dont consider CYDOOR spyware then, seeing as their FAQ states NO SPYWARE... Is it actually there or are you talking crap? ;)
He is correct Cydoor was found after install (using AdAware). It only had 18 users anyway. BTW isn't Cydoor just a ad server? That is what I read on the Edonkey2000 (Edonkey2000 uses cydoor, That never seems to get mentioned here. Wonder Why?)Home page anyway. But like I said it had only 18 users online when I tried it out this morning.
"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. They never know how good it feels to wake up with out a hangover."---Frank Sinatra
Well it had 32 users when I tried it this afternoon (UK time), so I'd say the userbase is skyrocketing! ;)
I was still relatively unimpressed - nothing new, looked like any other P2P thing.... But hey it's Alpha, so lets give it a chance.
maybe someone will make lite version as soon as user number pick up.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
