I use newsleecher, but I have heard that this program is the BEST for NZB's and also for helping new people find files easily on usenet.

Newsleecher is popular but it's not freware, and I found it to be to bloated and over loaded for my tastes.

    Grabit is simpler and lighter.

I used grabit years ago but it chokes like a pit bull on a poodle when pulling headers from the larger groups.

It may be bloated, but it does download large groups of headers easily, Grabit does not.

I've used newsleecher since 1.0 all the way up to the current version of 3.8 beta 6 which I have running right now and I have never paid for it, and since it weighs in at a meager 4.85mb, that can hardly be considered bloatware by any stretch.

Yes it's not that bloated it's just a busy looking thing. Personally I just search Newzbin, download a nzb and that's it for me, and I download away.

I never surf and subscribe to groups anymore, and if I do it's on a rare occassion only to make a request.
