    Codec packages

What is the best multi-codec package these days to d/l?

I have used AceMega Pro in the past. btw, I have never used K-lite's package. Also from what I gather, Ace no longer updates their codec package, so that leaves me with questions, like what should I use in the future??

Please do not even bother mentioning VLC, as I am not looking for a player with built in codecs.

I wouldn't even use a package, dude. Hit up free-codecs.com and pick up what you need. While you're there pick up real alternative and quicktime alternative so you can ditch the official bloatware.
