Hey all, got a little problem I'm hoping you might be able to advise.
When I go to certain movie sites (i.e - myspace vids., some daily motion, some stuff on findago) the movies don't show up and there is either a quicktime icon w/ a question mark or a blank box w/ the little puzzle-piece icon in the top left corner. I've jacked w/ my settings, I've combed google, and I have the latest flash and quicktime. Any ideas on how to fix this? It's keeping me from watching a lot of cool stuff.
And yeah, I'm pretty much a noob.
You need to let us here know which browser you're using, what firewall program if any, etc.!!!
im feeling like the "cool stuff" u want to watch on these sites is stuff that is copyright protected and once the hosting site whoever it might be like youtube finds that out they delete the content immediatly to avoid any legal problems. bieng u have the newest quicktime updated browser etc. i see that as the only possible answer...

like honestly, who does that?!?!

oh, and not all of the "cool stuff" is of the copyright nature. A video I made myself and uploaded through youtube and put on my myspace won't show up. wtf? I dunno, I probably screwed this computer up somehow. Thanks for lookin.:error
myspace video uses scripts. Maybe your security level is so high you can't run them. I also have to disable admuncher on that site to see a video. Could be you have a program like that running.
would that concern the firewall ? Either way, would it be safe to turn it off to view the vids?
Thanks duders.
