I recently installed MLdonkey on my Linux system (FC6) and my first impressions are mixed. On the one hand, it uses less memory than aMule and seems to better at handling larger numbers of files. And it has a lot of powerful features. On the other hand, I find the telnet and web interfaces much slower than respectively amulecmd and amuleweb. Moreover, downloads seem to go a lot slower than with aMule. I am wondering whether, after using aMule for more than a year, I've built up a lot of download credits with other users and this may impact downloads.

I am trying to decide whether to ditch aMule in favor of MLdonkey. Has anyone here had more experience with the latter?
