    what is the size of BIOS?

    anyone knows? I mean the system's BIOS... that is stored in motherboard.

    I am not certain, but I believe they vary in size. I know they have to be large enough to store flash updates, which also vary in size. I d/l'd a bios update once that was about .5 mb in size. So I am going to guess they are between 4-8 mb, but that is just a guess. I'm sure older ones were smaller.

    You can find out the size of your BIOS and tons of other useful info with a freeware tool called SIW
