I'm looking for a new music player. Foobar is failing me (it refuses to cooperate, it resets to the default crap look all the time, no longer works with last fm and crashes from time to time) so I need to replace it. I'm looking for something thar can handle a huge library 20,000+ songs and can sort the library by directory structure instead of tags as all my music is organized as I'd like the library to reflect it. I've tried WMP11 but it wont seem to take that much music it just shuts off after adding about 8,000 songs to the library. So any suggestions would be appreciated.
If you're looking for something that's as nice to look at as it is to use, then I'd reccomend trying mp3toys. (www.mp3toys.net)
It has built-in support for last.fm and has the best, (read accurate) automatic cover download system I've come across. This program would make a really good home jukebox with an additional cheap touch-screen.
Myself, I'm back using winamp, can't get enough of the DFX sound enhancer, it just sounds wrong without it.
A couple of sites I've been working on if you're interested http://www.howtogetfaster.co.uk, [url]http://www.documentaries.me.uk[url] and a new startup http://thelocalseo.co
