I wanna go back an OS, but windows wont let me, Help please!

Okay I'm on windows xp home right now, and I do have windows xp pro downloaded.. but it is one of the beta versions from a while ago... and I wanna just put it on there temporarily till I get full version xp pro.... but anyways I found a way to get rid of the 14day activation thing and the 180day trial test thing.. but thats not the point of this post... so how do I go back To windows xp pro beta? cause of course xp home edition what I have now is newer than xp pro beta.. and windows doesn't let you go back to older os's.... and this windows xp beta is in .zip archive so I can't make boot disks to boot it from computers start up? is there anyway I can get this on here? thanks for any help!

Believe me when I say it's not worth it. Technically, the 98se boot disk should allow you to boot to its command prompt and you can format from there, but why the hell would you want to? My advice: Stick with the home version until you get the REAL, non-beta Professional (if you really even need it).

He right . . . if you ever got that CD burned, it should be bootable, but you are going beyond what this forum is about, I suggest you do a search for "devils own" and then read up on the differences. I cant think of any reason why you need pro. In fact, I am saying flat out, YOU DONT.
Why thank you Krell...I try to be more helpful than a pain in the ass. :-)
