what bands have you seen live?

rather than hijack a thread, i figured i'd start one :)

    so far i have seen:
    toronto
van halen (david lee roth had pants with no ass- cool)
    tragically hip
blue rodeo (met them backstage- nice guys)
    inxs
    nickelback
    los lobos
    jann arden
    tom cochrane
    skydiggers
    matt mays and el torpedo
    sam roberts
    bryan adams
    great big sea
    tripping daisies
    stabilo
    sass jordan
and there's more, just can't think of them right now :) so who have you seen?

    Hmm... don't judge me.

    The Calling
    Tonic
    Goo Goo Dolls
Lifehouse (only because The Calling was opening for them)
    Our Lady Peace (*cough*Potato Girl*cough*)
Savage Garden (5th row, that was kind of sweet)
    Modest Mouse
    Gwen Stefani
Black Eyed Peas (they opened for Gwen)
    Coheed and Cambria
    311
    Less Than Jake
    Atmosphere
    Dave Matthews Band

I haven't been to a show in a while.. the last few I went to were free (except DMB--I paid for the gas to get there and back). Haven't been able to afford it. Missed a LOT of good shows..... (Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth, Eels, Cake, Garbage, Beck...)

I've not been to a concern for a long long time, but the ones I liked were:

    1. Supertramp
    2. Alice Cooper

I just wish I would have gotten to see all those bands while enjoying a sloppy joe or manwich.

A Perfect Circle - Colorado Springs
    Slipknot - Denver
    Slipnot - Hampton

Slipknot was badass in concert, I highly suggest to see them in concert

Many more but these off the top of my head, which for better or worse left an impression. When I lived in Seattle I’d see local and Underground bands at least twice a month. The local bands here suck ass so I have discontinued the practice.

I used to like him better live than his studio stuff. He used to play great 3 chord rock before he changed the bands name and tried to get fancy.
Nothing worse than a clunky rythymn player trying to play lead and sing. You have to be an outstanding vocalist with excellent range to pull that off and most are one or the other.(Great lead or vocals)
I don't need no stinking signature
