Kazaalite Not Sharing Any Files????

:mellow I recently upgraded to Kazaalite 2.0 from 1.7.x and for whatever reason it shows "Not sharing any files" - what gives? Everything is configured properly (i.e. shared files directory etc.) Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be. I am running XP Pro. The previous version worked flawlessly.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

are they both installed in the same directory? like C:\Program Files\KaZaA Lite?

Yes. I instaleld 2.0 over 1.7.x and then followed the installation instructions...copying the .exe over and then the hosts file. Everything else appears to function as expected (i.e. downloads, searches, etc.)

it may take a while for Kazaa to find your files. I had recently ripped 600 new songs on my PC and have over 800 total. It took about 5 minutes for Kazaa to finally show that I was sharing files. Just be patient and the songs should show. How many songs ya got, kjohn?

I just installed KazaaLite, and after i chose the shared folders for the first time, kazaa said that i was´nt sharing anything,
then I marked my shared folders again, and then it worked.

But now, NOTHING is beeing downloaded from me, even though I have a really nice collection of music and software...
Can anyone help me with this one?
ps zonealarm keeps telling me that it has block incoming messages, can that be related?

You'll see the folder tree (My Media, All, Audio ...).

Does the status indicator now switch to say "sharing xxx files"?
