    What I Found Is....

Shareazaplus is much faster (so far) than is Shareaza. i have spent much time reading about and attempting to implement Shareaza tweaks with abysmal results. frustrated i installed Bearshare, very impressed with the speed, however, as is my practice i install all unknown (to me) sorftware on a frozen snapshot before it sees light on my system snapshot(only good if the soft does not require a reboot). one of my security softs (Prev2) indicated a file in Bearshare-webstats.dat is malware. i trust this soft and beta-tested it for a stretch, and know it be pretty reliable with a low false positve tendency. but i googled the file name anyway, the conclusion i drew that it is infact malware. but i allowed Prevx2 to run it under Probation, rather than Jail it and initiate a clean-up (bravery borne of my frozen test snapshot). after around a day of testing, i decided to install it onto my System Snapshot and Jail and clean out the infected file. Bearshare ran fine without webstats.dat, speeds were good and i thought i had found my P2P app. but after observing the upload monitor, to my surprise, i saw Bearshare attempting to upload files from folders i had NOT granted permission for. even though it was not actually uploading the files (it would flash 'authorizing' on and off) it should not IMO should even have been able to see these folders/files. i reverted to an archieved snapshot i created in case things went sideways, and Bearshare went away. Bearshare will never see the light of day on my boxes.

side-note, i posted my experience on a Bearshare forum and interestingly enough, no one engaged, challenged, corroborated my finding of malware/snoopware in their app. also worthy of mention, my HIPS/FW program (Online Armor) gave me a pop-up that Bearshare wanted to use svchost.exe, which i stupidly allowed. probably how it was able to see non-permissioned folders. my guess is tha it used svchost to escalate it's privledges.

in any case i was close to resolving myself to the fact that emule is/was the best P2P solution for me, when i decided to give Shareazaplus one more shot and i spent the time to set it up as per this guide, and it is 4-5 times faster than regular Shareaza, which again i put in the time to configure based on guides and tutorials, and i even replaced tcpip.sys (which i reverted out of and have not reinstalled for Shareazaplus).

in this long winded explanation, what i am attempting to say, while i have no expertise in P2P execution and core functionality, Shareazaplus in spite of guru disapproval is meeting and exceeding my expectations so far. old code-new code i cannot ask for anything more than that.

give me the version number you have installed. if it is something like "2.3.0.0i" then it is bad version. lol

Good!I have never used a shadowbane gold ruppee seller since there is absololutely no need when you pay close attention to the CS in relation to AH.shadowbane power leveling. For those considering it using a ruppee seller Talisman gold I will show why it is unnecessary.talisman Power leveling.
