    FilePipe not connecting to Ares

    First let me start by saying hello to everyone!

    Second, I've been trying Filepipe for about a week or so now. It connects to fastTrack, Gnutella and Openft fine, but it never seems to connect to Ares. Any suggestions?

    Hello, I tried Filepipe also, and had the same results. It just will not connect to Ares. I even forwarded the port they assigned to Ares with no results. I also have Ares and it connects quickly and d/l are very good. Does anyone have any ideas, I believe Filepipe is a good idea and program but I guess it takes time to work the bugs out. I also tried KCeasy, it connected to 2 Ares clients and the Fasttrack connection has been taken away by a cease and desist order according to the website.

    Arrow Kceasy

    Found this for Kceasy 0.18, will connect Kceasy to Fasttrack. Use http://developer.berlios.de/projects/gift-fasttrack/ and d/l giFT-FastTrack version 0.8.9. It works. If anyone is interested.

    Filepipe is just a KCeasy clone with an outdated Ares.dll, just download KCeasy and use it instead.

    If you want to connect to Ares, just use Ares!!
