There is an issue I am having with my Ipod that is really annoying. Sometimes after copying a song(s)to my Ipod from Itunes the Ipod seems to copy the song(s) twice! Or splits a group of songs from one artist into 2 different list items.
Sometimes the artist is listed twice, sometimes an album is listed twice, or both.
eg.
Under artist:
Greenday

Under Album:
Dookie

Has any of you out there had the same problem? Or does anyone know how to stop this from happening. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Oh and yes I makes sure everything is spelled exactly the same before I transfer anything onto my Ipod.

Well, I'm afraid I don't have an answer to your specific problem, but one thing I would recommend is that you stop using iTunes. The software is crap (in my not-so-humble opinion :icon_tong ). Just the fact that it forces you to install Quicktime is in itself reason enough not to use it (why the hell do you need Quicktime to manage your audio library?).
Try using WinAmp with the iPod plugin.
Familiar interface...good media library....excellent play list support.
Only bad thing is that AOL bought out WinAmp and who knoww what they've done with it. Still better than iTunes and Quicktime, though...

There...I've posted. Happy now??
"Hello Tic3 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?"
Moved to ipod lounge.
If I were you I'd erase all the songs off of your iPod and resync it and see what happens.
