Eight years after his solo debut, Sean Lennon is releasing album No. 2.
"Friendly Fire" is due Sept. 26, Capitol Records announced Tuesday. It follows "Into the Sun," which was released in 1998.
"There was a long period after the first album where I felt disillusioned with the machinery of the industry," Lennon, 30, said in a statement.
"It's not that I stopped recording, playing, performing, I did all those things, just more discreetly. `Friendly Fire' is an experiment to see what it might be like to do music more publicly again."
Lennon produced a short film for each of the album's tracks, directed by Michele Civetta, featuring appearances by Lindsay Lohan, Bijou Phillips, Asia Argento, Devon Aoki, Carrie Fisher, Jordana Brewster and others.

I heard him say bad things about his father and how he abandoned him and his mom. I think thats where he gets his energy from, building himself up into something more then what his father was... IMAGINE all the children with no fathers.

Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!

Yeah it was julian. I think that he should of at least lived in the UK to be more of a father to julian. You cant keep a relationship with kids if you move to a country more then 3000 miles away.
Long as Yoko dont make an appearance on the cd, he should do fine.
Sadly, I must agree.Originally Posted by mfgbypooter

This might be off topic, but has anyone noticed that english people pronounced r's after words that end in "a" and they dont pronounce r's normally? Weird.
