I used to use mozilla 1.1, thought it was awsome but then heard about PHOENIX. a browser that was just a browser that's it.This is the future, so much faster than mozilla and if someone had told me that a week ago i would of said "GET DA FUCK OUT OF HERE"but of tested this thing for hours on end the last week and this thing is lightning compared with other browsers because that's all it is just a browser no bells and whistles. That's not to say it hasn't got any good features because it has lots. The only thing to remember is this thing is beta still so will not be technically perfect but it's still amazing.Plus you can go to the forums and get a ton of help from other phoenix users and the people who make the program the love hearing feedback on bugs so they can get to work on fixing them. You can upgade as the have nightly builds but the milestone builds are the most stable.GetPhoenix 0.4 (oceano) cause that's the latest milestone build. If your a techno go here http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoe...s.html#install
Or if you want a simple install EXE go here http://seb.delahaye.net/phoenix/
this guy puts it into exe format for ease of use.You can wait till 0.4 oceano appears in the milestons section of his web page or just download nightly build 200021029 cause that's 0.4 any way it just hasn't been renamed yet .they released 20021029 then a few hours later released it as the offical 0.4 oceano milestone release. So go get it and try it out you'll love it .
ahem...Opera for life :wings Ilove Opera so much :) I pretty much hate everything gecko including netscape, mozilla, phoenix (though its pretty good; probably my second choice after Opera), etc..
Phoenix is pretty bad-ass, but it is still pretty similar to mozilla 1.1, I am going to wait until 0.5 is released later this month to switch since it is still a little buggy and has no major improvements over Mo1.1.
anything is better than internet explorer, for browsing anyway. i currently use mozilla 1.1, i am waiting for the final 1.2 to come out, that'll be awesome. the 1.2 beta version has a few bugs in it, hopefully that will get fixed before the official release of 1.2.
A great man once said, it's better to go forward, cause if you go backwards you may trip, or cause someone to fall.
No I will not fix your computer.
you know you should really give linux a try. you know the funny thing about the l2cache on the old pentium 2 really didnt give me the power to do the multimedia stuff that a guy like me wants to do.
