will azureus and limewire join each other ?
why not a hybrid of limewire and azureus, both developing a emule kademlia download?
ed2k links for azureus and for limewire.
both can win, its a win win situation to create a common platform..
torrents in limewire with a different DHT as in azureus make no sense !!

It makes sense to us, but to the people in charge of Limewire/Azureus, they could care less. I'm not an expert in any of these platforms, but do they both have a home in the same country? It simply might be too hard for them to work something like this out due to restraints and region issues.

I did hear Limewire wants to adopt bittorent as a secondary network. I haven’t heard the azureus rumor. On the surface it might make sense as Azureus is a bittorent client (which limewire wants) and both use Java. However both clients are very mature (highly developed). In my brief experience in programming I learned combining two separate Ideas is easy. Combining two separate well developed programs with a well established developer base is a nightmare Wes Craven couldn't imagine.
Then again I'm often wrong and being a pessimist I'm often pleasantly surprised.

Back to business!
Putting too many applications together always messes things up, Azureus rocks so leave it be.
