Explorer is acting up on some sites with java scripts. Was able to use it just fine. I have MS VM machine installed and update for VM too. Have SP1 installed too.
Tried installing Sun JRE 1.4 and no luck. I can open the site with opera just fine.
Any setting I need to change please help.
i have tried that too but still no luck.
did you uninstall the JVM before you installed suns JRTE? if not try this and see if internet explorer will run java using the JRTE. the JRTE wont work in internet explorer if microsofts JVM is still on your system.if this doesnt work maybe a reinstall of the JVM may do the trick. it worked for me.

how to uninstall MS VM, I dont see any option in add/remove prog.
BTW i did not uninstall MS VM
yesterday I was an update for MS VM and bingo, everything worked after i installed the update.
