hey guys need some help with ares i installed it 3 days ago it has been working perfect untill now
when i open it connects and after 5-10 secunds it freezes and posts "the program is not answering"
and all the icons become inactive i tried to uninstall and install but still the same???
How long was it before you turn your pc off?? Its a resource hog, may need to check your ram usage through out or shut down and reboot it up.
i agree with shawners, i think it might be your pc. i use ares and never had that happen and my pc is getting old but still no probs.

its a brand new laptop and ares worked in the evening i wake up try to connect but no luck ive been trying ever since
Try a clean uninstall and then make sure your installing the latest version of it. And post back all your configurations and operating systems.
look the first time l used Ares it was working but after 3 months it started to go haywire, l couldnot
cancel downloads l did want and it would freeze up on me, so l uninstalled then installed again, but with the
same results finally i got rid of it , and now using emule new version, and bitcomet, very good it is a torrent
client has a lot of option in torrents and also irc client. so try it out if u like.

now n again it takes a while to connect but.
apart from that it runs like a train
