Does anyone here dig mash-up tunes? If confused, here's a link to what Im talking about....http://www.gybo-v3.co.uk/
Someone elsewhere was telling me about the Evolution Control Committee. I haven't really had a chance to check 'em out, nor do I really know anything about mash-ups.

Unless you are the following people, I do not particularly wish to associate with you:
Krell, HelenaP, mountain_rage, mfgbypooter, Mels_Smileys45, excrement_cranium.
That's it for now. This list will be updated whenever I feel like it.

I love mashups.
Try "2 many DJ's" from the group Soulwax for a really good introduction to this genre.
My favourite is the destiny's child vs Nirvana smells like teen spirit. Awesome.
Also if anyone's into mashups / bastard pop they should definitely check some Plunderphonics. (Which is pretty much what the ECC are about, re: Potato's post)
Grab some Cassetteboy for the best example of plunderphonics IMO, it's not really music as such, but it's pretty damn funny!
I watched cassetteboy play a couple years back at the cube club in Bristol. They played in balaclava's the whole set, cause they're that worried bout getting busted for massive copyright infringement.
I like Snoop Dog vs Jimi Hendrix. I be bumpin dat in da ride
Radio Head vs Marvin Gaye is pretty fly too
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
Actually I'll one up u both....
EMINOATS - eminem vs hall n oates
Beatles vs Marvin Gaye - You Wont Give It Up
I'll put up on my MySpace page, the one thats linked in my signature.....
A good place for MAsh Ups is also http://www.gybo-v3.co.uk (Get Your Bootleg On), and BTW, love 2 Many DJs
That plunderphonis has a pretty gnarly album cover
