Well, After having my Dell 1905FP LCD for awhile now, I'm starting to get tired of the "Ghosting" due to the 20ms response time.
So, I'm looking around at some new LCD's and most come up with a 8ms Response which is alot better than 20ms. I'm not a big gamer at all, but I tend to watch TV through my pc but even the movent is a bit bothersum.
So, what's good out there? Any models that have built in USB ports like my Dell LCD? And of course it needs Analog as well as DVI.
Thanks

I bought a 20" ViewSonic from Costco and love it. It was very reasonable too, I might add.

like honestly, who does that?!?!
l love my NEC MultiSync 1770GX... it has an integrated (powered) USB 2.0 hub, its black, has a relatively thin bezel, looks nice.... 8ms response, 1280x1024 native res... its pretty good, I like it. It gets good reviews (I think one mentioned "the color looked TOO good"). It's the 17" model, though.
The 19" model is the NEC MultiSync 1970GX, and should be quite a nice monitor.

What A Twist!
I have a 19" GNU that I bought for 180£ (=335 USD) and it works great for games (8ms response time) and for internet. It lets down slightly on the greyscales during image editing but that's of no consequence since I hardly ever do that.
Got a 20 inch Samsung SyncMaster 204B and I love it.
Go to pricescan.com and enter the product you might like, it checks the net for lowest prices.
OK, thanks. My Dell is good for internet right now, but for watching tV through my tv card, the images are kinda fuzzy, at least when there is movent, not terrible, but could be better I think. DVD's are not to bad.

I have stayed away from LCD's because of poor video game performace (blurry, ghosting). Does anyone use theirs for high speed gaming and what are the results?
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
Newegg has a good house brand.I have this one and am happy with it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824021019 $246 shipped with a $60 rebate.I ordered mine on a Sunday and it was here Monday.

Blurry? Play your game at the LCD panel's native resolution, this way there is no scaling. Also get DVI, it helps noticibly.Originally Posted by Mels_Smileys45
Ghosting? 8ms or less, and the LCD has quite the high response time.
I play UT2k4 and dont notice any problems.

i have a viewsonic 19" with 2ms responsetime
not even pricey and was voted best 19 incher
im currently playing half life 2 episode 1 on it
never ghosts or blurs
.
I'm not surprised at 2ms response time!! That's the quickest out there to my knowledge. Don't go above 12ms if you don't want any ghost-like images. I pull off UT2k4, COD2 and BF2 without any distortions and i'm using VGA...havn't found a DVI lead yet:p
