Sharing WMV files or other file types using Winmx

I have found a lot of users do not know or realize you can share or indeed, search for these files using Winmx. so I'm gonna tell you how to do this right now!

First to share, Go to your "Library" and click on "settings". Now highlight Video ( .asf .avi .mpg .mpeg) then click on the "edit" button and type in .wmv inside the brackets. You can now share wmv files.

To search for wmv files. The only way, that I know of, to find them is to fist click on the "search" button as normal, then click on "Video". To the right of Video, there is a button marked Video (.asf .avi .mpg .mpeg). Click on that button and highlight "any file/ bitrate". You can now search for any type of video file.

Special note: Pay close attention to the file extensions when you choose a file to download. Make sure its a video file as "zip" files and "jpeg" files will now show up as well.

LOL, alot of porn is, unfortunately, in wmv form. This is mostly for those perverts who have ripped sites and want to share that on the network just to have something to offer. Not much else good can come of it I'm afraid. (besides being something legit you can share and not get in trouble)

Its full of Fakes, as it has no good hashing filter.
Development is over since 3 years.
winmx.com is down...mxpie.com is a confusing site.

Chris have you not seen there is a new Winmx mod that weeds out fakes? There is also nothing wrong with the hash system, WTF? There is plenty of work being done on this community network

Could a mod maybe delete all ths and sticky/close this one please?

First of all.. The porn you see are maybe site rips or clips which would be one scene or part of it. Any porn thats released in the right way would be a dvd9 ripped into 2cd's in DIVX form. Which consist of 2hours and 20 or more minutes. A Nfo file with link to covers and quality of it, audio, video byte rate, source, a sfv to check there is no missing pieces, screenshots, possibly sample, and covers. First of all shawners, this has nothing to do with what I started this thread for (WINMX USERS! HELLO!), its about sharing other files types that users need to mod winmx to see or share. Not about YOU and what you think. By site rip I'm talking about clips from sites that offer unique content that can not be had on DVD. Like couples who run their own web site.

Secondly, for your information, Winmx contains two of the largest release

Nah, Im tired of this same old shit day after day. I post something and along comes shawners to correct me. Ive had more than enough of it. Perhaps I did go a bit overboard, Im having a bad day of it, and if so, I'm sorry. This is jjust getting on my nerves.

If a mod could clean up this thread and close it, perhaps sticky it for winmx users to see, I would thank you much.
