Seriously, thanks for taking what used to be a great p2p site with great members on a fantastic forum and turning it into the ad infested shithole it is now.

Who needs spyware when you can just visit Zeropaid?

I don't think I've ever seen more fucking ads in my entire life.

They're at the top, bottom, throughout the forum, on the side, everywhere. That's with me having an ad blocker.

Sorry for the rant, but it needed to be said; again if it's already been stated.

I'd rather pay a small amount of money monthly (like I do with other forums such as offtopic.com) than to go here free, but yet, be utterly confused throughout a thread because of all the damn ads!

its little consolation but u can block ALL the ads with firefox and adblock

or maybe just get a modified hosts file

im in no way defending the use of ads but if u never see them the they are not an issue

You have an ad blocker? when you used to be a member here, we ran a lot of flashy fastclick ads AND popunders. now we run google ads. quit talking shit.

Em, adds on a site are just adds. There are not adware that installs onto your computer.

Exactly. And we COULD do paid memberships with no ads at all, would anyone here pay to access these forums? @ ZEROPAID?

Yes and if that happened, it would certainly have to be posted in the double standards thread.

You don't have to view the ads.

Don't be getting cheeky, I was simply stating a point that seems like you obviously oversighted. Don't like the ads, don't look at them.

I would. If these forums were active with alot of the old members here, hell yeah I would. Like I've already stated, I pay for premium services at other forum sites. I would do the same here if there was an option and there were alot of the old people back.

And yes, I remember the flashy adverts and the pop-unders.....I liked those better than the current situation.

And do I have a huge, current hosts file with firefox and an ad blocker. I know how to block ads.

That all being said, in all honesty, I do appreciate the many years that jorge and dub have put in this site. Although I haven't liked it much in the past several months, for years I did, and for that, I truely am thankful for your hard work on this site.

piranetus I remember the days when you were here and i always appreciated your posts. It saddens me to see a senior member saying stuff like this, and saddens me even more to see that you have a huge, current hosts file without googlesydication.com in it. Honesly, I think these ads are less offensive to the senses, hell I trew a party the day we got rid of popunders. We make a hell of a lot less but I think that is a good thing because most people dont mind the google ads.

We are about to give some serious hard work to the community, we have a cd ripping/burning application in the works we are going to be giving away as well as a bittorrent client and much more. Zeropaid has always been and always will be by, for, and of the people.

I wasn't trying to imply that you guys are banking off of the ads. I've run ads on sites that I've done before and know that, in general, while they may make some renevue, usually it isn't all that much. I don't believe you guys are "ripping" us off or anything like that.

Again, in all honesty I do appreciate all the work that you and jorge have done to the site in the past.

My life hasn't been all that great lately, in some respects, and then I come here and am bombarded by ads and it just pissed me off. I understand your reasonings behind doing what you do, I was just venting.

Again, even though I don't frequent this site nearly as much as I used to, I did have some great times here and learned alot here. For that, I will always be thankful.

I don't miss Seph. Although this forum oozed with drama when he was here, but not the good kind...

I've even seen phalkon30 around in other forums, but he skated from here some time ago.

I think both Notbob and haddock got the boot a few months back. I think it is for some extended time as well. I have not been posting as much myslef because it has got rather boaring.
