It can mean a few things:

    1. You have deleted your incoming files folder. Check it is still there on your hard drive, and then go to Settings > File Transfers and check that the incoming folder setting has exactly the same name as the one on your hard drive, if not, change it to the required folder

    2. You currently have the file open that you are trying to resume to (ie if you are trying to resume an mp3, it may be open in media player). This is a problem in 2k, however shouldn't cause any problems I don't think in XP

    3. The filename is illegal. In this case

    - chose to manually download
    - check the "manually browse for the file to resume from" radio button and click ok
    - type in a new name into the file box (don't forget to add an extension) and click ok
    - the file will now download with the name which you have specified

    4. You do not have permission to access that folder on your computer. There can be a million and one reasons why you don't have permission, so it is probably best to make a new folder which you do have full access to and then follow the steps in part 1 to change your incoming folder.

There are a few other reasons, but I gotta go now, so if any of these don't work, I'll try and think of some more ;-)

load incompletes into your downloads window, right click on the file causing the error and select "trim 10k".
