    About WinMX

Okay, so i have a mp3 player - but no music. I'm wondering if WinMX is a safe&good choice for me, when i want to download music for my Mp3 player (ipod nano). I basically need an easyish-to-use downloading programme, with a quite wide variety of music .. Should i, or should i not, go for WinMX?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to ZP!

As to your question, you may want to tell us what type of music you are seeking. WinMX network maybe still be working, but WinMX client would need to be patched. So, you may need to look at other p2p network(s) & client(s) to fill your ipod! :)

Have you thought about using Bittorrent, or even allofmp3.com. That what I use for vast majority of my music needs.

WinMX is dust. Although there are 3rd party clients that you can download to access the remainder of the WinMX network.

Its too bad they are toast. Was a great network.

I would not use winmx for my main source of mp3's, I can only suggest Limewire as it uses the best (fast) network for them right now. Winmx is only good for 70's porno, new release porno and TV shows.

I agree but youre wasting your breath. Some people will never get it and winmx is better off limited to people who get the community vibe. Its different and thats a good thing. To me there will never be a program with as much life as winmx.
