LOL, ok, long story, my mother came to me with this problem tonight and I didnt know how to answer her. :-)
Seems to be some valuable info there that was accidentally deleted I suppose. Maybe I just didnt want to know the rest of the story. :-) Am I gathering from your shock that this is not a possibility??

If you need url addresses for her history, you can get them ALL from the Index.dat files

Revisit the sites, you get new cookies etc.

Get the Index.dat Viewer and when you read the dat files, you will see the url history, the view will find the files for you.

Assuming that the files are NOT in the Recycle Bin where you can quickly recover them, there is software available to help you UNDELETE files.

    Use the search button

Tried the viewer, doesnt recover, only shows you pretty a more complex version of what you can already see in the Temp fies folder before being deleted. :-) Now its got my curiosity. Does that history get munched into nothingness when it gets deleted? Or where does it really go?
By the way, you rock at the quick replies, even when you are annoyed at stupid questions.
    Thanks!!! :icon_thum

The Viewer doesnt recover, it just shows you how MS spies on you . .and theres a history there of what you do . . which is like a list of your web sites visited, which can help you get what you needed from the internet files, which get munched in to nothingness.

No im not annoyed, I just multitask, and I throw things out in as fast a fashion as I can . . so if I seem a bit to the point, its because I am.

I give the user credit enough to be able to search using a key word like "undelete" or "recover" so I have no desie to hold his or her hand about it.

Now let me enjoy my coffee and STFU
