I was using Thunderbird on Windows XP, up till I found a bunch of virus' in its inbox on my and my mom's computers (I used a bunch of those online virus scanners that krell had as links on his signature). I then proceeded to delete the virus' I found manually.
I also installed an extension on thunderbird called html block that should cut back on some of them but am I really safe? I don't think so.
So I was just wondering if anyone out there knows of a safer e-mail client that doesn't contract virus' as easily as Thunderbird? Or if there was some built in settings I just don't know of that could help protect me from virus' in Thunderbird. I don't want to download an antivirus if at all possible.
