well Now that I have all the kingdom hearts games (all three of them) I thought I would make a thread about the series. I am really glad I have played the other Kingdom hearts games before playing number 2. They help make sense of a lot of stuff. It's a crazy story though, and none of the games should be missed by fans of Square or disney!
for all of those out there who haven't played any kingdom hearts games, be sure to play the original and Chain of memories before playing Kingdom hearts 2. Chain of memories is very strange and for gameboy advance, but it is essential to play if you want to know the full story. Chain Of Memories is also my favorite in the series because of it's tougher gameplay.
Any thoughts?

I was enthralled by the advertising opening cinema that came on demo discs for Kingdom Hearts. Eventually, I bought it and played for a little while. It was mainly bought for the young one here to be awestruck as I played it. For whatever reason, it got set aside. I have intentions to play it again, just not sure when. Might get the GBA version as we have two of those floating around here. Guess I'll see how #1 ends. Thus far, #2 doesn't seem to appealing. Not big on the classic, black-and-white look for Disney. But it may be interesting for nostalgia's sake.

I liked vandal hearts for the PS1, and then vandal hearts 2 came out. It was good.
I enjoyed Vandal Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the best games I ever played!

They can Stop Napster the Company, BUT never Napster the Idea...
You guys said good things about it, so I oredered it the other day.
Now, has anyone played Untold Legends for the PSP? How is that for an RPG game?
from what I hear it's a POS. From the reviews, I wouldn't get itOriginally Posted by WE_DELIVER

Now I remember why I was getting gameboy emu's and roms. The handhelds were getting the goldrush of old school style RPG's. I did have the touchups of FF 1 and 2 on a GBA rom n emu.
Anyway, the disney portion of Kingdom Hearts always scared me away, but then again, I loved Mario RPG... shit... I still haven't finished FF 7 (which I don't own anymore) or FF 11 (which I own currently... along with an unfinished fable).
Blech.

Never played Mario RPG, was looking for a cart for a while.
FF7 is pretty good. But my favorite is 3.
I did hear that Sony will start releasing a download service for the PSP that has old PS1 games. Hopefully its true.
I actually still have the cart for Mario RPG, but need to get a new SNES system.
It was a cool game, bringing some active participation into traditional RPG battles. You would hit the select button during attacks and spells, and if timed right you would add extra damage. The world was Marioish, but with RPG elements thrown in (even a cameo from a final fantasy character, which played FF 3/2 music when you fought). Aaaah, nostalgia.
If you look around you can find the final fantasy chronicles and get 3 and 4. I haven't found.... meh, forget it... it all gets confusing.
