    Problem with DLing torrents...please help

Ok well heres what happened, I decided to try out Bitcomet for a little bit and tried dling a file and then I decided I didnt really like it so I uninstaleld Bitcomet and went back to Bittorrent. But now when I click on torrents to download a pop up comes up and says:

C:/Documents and Settings\(my name)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IES\ and some other stuff and ends in .torrent.

Then at the bottom of it it says Invalid menu handle. Could anybody please tell me whats wrong and how to fix it? Thanks.

Oh and I found somebody with a similar problem somewhere else and he didnt know either. Heres a screen shot of what his looks like. Mine looks the exact same except the file is different and the name.

DId you change the default download folder, and make it your defualt torrent program. Select to associate the file with the new torrent program?

Save a torrent file or open up a torrent file by right clicking on it, it will have a series of things to choose on their, one of them lets you select which app to open it up with. Choose on your bit torrent.exe file.

Ok nvm I just downloaded firefox. Unlike my IE it asks where I want to save the files and which program I want to run the torrents on. Thanks for the help.

Easiest way to do it is set up your operating system to open Azureus when you download a torrent. In Windows you create an "association" between the .torrent and Azureuz. Set up Azureus with a default folder to save the .torrent and the download. Then when you click on the .torrent to start the download it will be automated tol launch Azureus and start downloading and saving the file.

    Problem with Dling torrents

Morning Peeps hope you are all well. This is my first contribution.I tried Bitcomet and then ditched it. Then had same problem with "Menu handle invalid" Before Bitcomet I was using Azureus. I found the best solution was to uninstall Azureus and the install it again. Problem fixed. Hope this is helpful. Lenslucky.
