We are proud to release our newest site modification, as ZeroPaid.com adapts social networking to news.

This new addition will allow members have more control over the news that gets published to the site, and what makes the homepage, even what gets deleted.

We feel that this change will allow our members to be more interactive in the site, a change that is desperately needed.

Social networking is a key aspect to the changes around here; we hope you enjoy the changes we are bringing to the site.

I would love to write more, even more clearly, but since I was up till 6am working on bugs and finishing deployment my mind is a bit foggy. We are still working out the bugs, so please be patient.

I like it. Only suggestion is an interaction of that and the reputation system. Say you get 0.5 reputation points added for each vote on an article.

It is not right, as some people have had their favorite sections removed and hence pushed from the site.

I dont think its the right direction for the site to head in... Maybe if there was a large number of mods, then it would make sence to have a story in a queue before being promoted by THEM to the main area. But for now, I dont see what the point of promoting it by the user is. If you read the story in the queue, then chances are you wont need to read it by the time its in the main area.

But thats my opinion...who knows how will it turn out, could be interesting

BTW...what is the point of the tag cloud? And why is Aluminum nitrate bombs in it...lol

A tag cloud consists of the latest tags used in stories. When you submit a story, you can add "tags" to it, sorta like keywords in a sense. These tags are helpful when navigating through content.

For instance, if you clicked on the bittorrent tag, you would see this: http://www.zeropaid.com/news/index.p...rrent&tag=true

I am still working on cleaning up the data, but for the most part moving forward, we should be able to search through content easier. In a sense, tags are a good way to dive into popular subjects.

I hope the users of zeropaid understand that i am working very hard to implement some serious changes around here, and with your feedback i can make it better. if you haven't noticed my 6am posts, you should.

Dont get me wrong, I totally appreciate that youre trying to improve the site. Some features I just dont think improve it. But I am just one dude....others might think different.

I'm sure others appreciate you doing so as well.

LOL, thanx. I'm trying to get used to the layout, so I dont want to say something bothers me if Im gonna get used to it.

I think the tag cloud is out of place on the front page. At least for me, its use is partially confusing and does not justify the realestate used(atleast in a default layout).

I really like the new layout. Of course there are some pros and cons but I think everyone should be able to agree that the news section did need to have something done, as its been lacking, for a long time now. Ive actually been looking at the front page again because of all the different new articals and the user participation



Big thumbs up from Mels and believe me, I would tell you straight up if I hated it.
