Thread: needed audio codec...

    needed audio codec...

    ok... i downloaded two .avi files that as a whole make up a movie. between the 2 files, they take up about 1.4 gigs, so i really dont want to have to find somthing else. anyway, to the point: neither of these files have sound to them. they came from different users, and had very different file names (IE not just ____part one, _____part two). i am assuming that they came from the same source tho, as they line up, and have same res, etc. i downloaded the nimmo codec pac, and installed the basic config. again, the file didnt work. i then tried it in wmp, and winamp. nothing. what should i do? i dont want to try to find alternates for these files... this movie is VERY hard to find....id tell you what it is... but you know howe it is....

    k... ill do it tommarrow... i got school tomarrow and need some sleep. hope that isnt a problem... thanx man.

    Try using Vdub to figure out what the codec is called too.....

    That always saved my ass when I had a video I couldn't view.
