    uTorrent 1.5 is out!!!

Slightly bigger, but now even better looking!

I think you have to go to the site to dl the exe since 1.4 still thinks that it is the latest version.

Anyways, in related news, I'm dissapointed and embarrassed to report that Pipex are now throttling BT and I'm PISSED. It's embarrasing because I had previously recommended Pipex to a number of different people.

I've been busy over the last week or so but recall noticing something up even before then. The good news is that the latest uTorrent helps to some degree. I have a 1mb connection and seem to be limited to dl at ~20k, which can be very frustrating, but with uTorrent 1.5 it looks like I can get closer to 80k -not perfect, but it'll do until I decide what to do with Pipex.

Its completely useless to use encryption method unless the other people have it enabled to send through to you. If everyone turns it on, your speeds will be faster.

I don't know what needs to be improved on except the pause fuction, well, not pausing.Version 1.4 was blow you out of the water type stuff.
I'll wait s bit until I try to improve on near perfection.I'm still smarting from the nightmare of Firefox 1.5(which on the plus side forced me to go to Opera for my #1 browser even after I reinstalled FF 1.0.7.)

Got it, didn't notice any interface changes because of my own icons, only the ones on the details section.

The encryption is a nice feature, especially for those worriers. And as well with the Peer Exchange, you can get many more peers.

Doesn't Azureus 2.4 have encryption auto-enabled? And since Azureus auto-updates (well, at least when you click "yes") more and more people will be using Az 2.4, with encryption enabled, and thus bypassing ISP throttles.

I thought about switching to uTorrent, but I liked the Az update just in time, + now this retspan agreement with uTorrent and the blocking of uTorrent in PG2 - not that I use it, was enough for me to stick with Azureus...

I no longer trust Utorrent, they are traders. Might be some Anti-P2P/Secret sending of info of what we DL

On what basis? I know it's not open source software, but they have nothing to hide. The program is legal. Just don't use it illegally and you have nothing to fear.

I trust it far more than I trust bitlord and it's xxx chat toolbar.

I've been wondering about the µtorrent agreement with retspaN too. It seems like it's just a side project, I can't see it affecting the µtorrent program itself, it's not a top Torrent app, and folks would turn away from it fast.

Also, what's wrong with Firefox 1.5? The bug I always see is getting a blank page when clicking a link, and having to refresh to get the page back. It is annoying on some sites.
