Should be worth a look.
Not so fast grass hopper! I'm afraid it just isn't possible beyound 2 frames a second on only one game at thise time. It takes a CPU many, many times more powerfull than the CPU being emulated before a sound running EMU will be possible. Maybe with a 5Ghz CPU and a kick ass graphics card coming out in the future it will be possible. Stck with ps1 andN64. There ar3e smore great emu's for those.
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
mels i think ur rite. but im determined to try

Trust me, its dead. As far as I know, no one is even working on one an ylonger. It proved too much of a challenge. I wish I had a good dreamcast emu. That would be kick ass.

WHY THe HELL !!! Would you do it...GAME companies release PC Games and xbox games.. Get a pc game of it burnt and play it on the PC.
Kokanzub. You need to get a chipped xbox to play burnt games. You only have to look at the progress of n64 emulation to realise that xbox emulation is a l-o-n-g way off.
The xbox uses RISC amonst other trickery which still pits it above a lot of current PCs, let alone have a PC trying to emulate one.
You can get a decent xbox chip for pittence these days, it's well worth the investment.
Edit:
Mels, buy a DC, they dont even need to be chipped. Most games are selfboot (basically they have the Utopia boot disc built in) and can fit onto a single 700 meg CDR. (sometimes with re-encoded MPEGs but you can't have it all)
I picked a dreamcast up for 12 quid in the UK.
im off to hunting then thx guys

If you do find something out there that allows us to do this please let us know
The Dreamcast emulators are coming along nicely, personally I don't need one my Dreamcast still works amazingly well. Gotta love a system that doesn't need a modchip to play backups.
