WinMX crashes computer. Any idea why?
Has anyone else had this problem? I start the program and it runs through the connection process then once I search or do a find sources, it causes my computer to reboot.
I am using the latest, 3.1 I think, version.

winMX causes blue screens ...win2K
hey ...
yeah I installed the the latest version a couple of days ago and I get the same thing...I'm using win2K OS. WinMX also causes blue screens which needless to say is a real pain in the arse, especialy if i'm downloading from a good source, which i've found not easy to find as most sourses have massive queues.
If anyone knows a solution other than using different program please let me know. I will look further for the solution however.

well your not alone in the reboot world of winmx 3.1.... but i only get it when I try to use the primary connection, try useing the secondary connection option that should stop your reboot problem or atleast it stopped mine.. hope this helps somewhat

Secondary Connection...
Either Zeropaid or Slyck.com posted that Winmx has acknowleded the issues with primary connections and are looking to improve that for the next upgrade to 3.1!!
Cheers,
