Large network, ports closed, impossible to port forward - Help !

My computer is part of large network sharing internet connection. All of relevant p2p ports are stealthed. Possible by both router and firewall.

I tried begging, pleading for network operator to forward ports - but not only that he refuses. He is also quite secretative about what is hiding my ports.

Also i tried to ninja my way in and port forward my self. But when i type in my gateway number in explorer - I only get error message :icon_shak


So basically I am behind firewall or router - and nothing I can do about it :(

My question is. IS THERE ANY P2P FILESHARING PROGRAM THAT WORKS BEHIND FIREWALL/ROUTER ???

I tried lot of them. This moment i have best results with morpheus. But it is downloading 3kb/s - 10kb/s at maximum...still better than 0 i get from other programs?

So any idea ? Any programs that does not need open ports ?

Use UTORRENT.. ANd turn on encryption.. Use port 80 or 112 or even a higher number like 33000 on the torrent program. YOu may have to experiment.

When you say large network...do you mean like at where you work or at school or something? If it is work or school then you need to get your own connection because it sounds like you have someone that could be watching you very closely! If the network admin knows who you are (now that you have asked him to open ports) he WILL be watching you cloesly! Count on it!

Ya it would appear that you are out of luck getting incoming connections (I deal with the same crap at Penn State). If you use encrpytion however all outgoing connections should be fine. You don't need to have open ports for bittorrent, it just helps it go faster.
