Hi' thanks for your time. when i try to download something weither it be a torrent, a trail program from a website ,the download box dissapears after the download(yes the box is unchecked). I even tried right clicking on file to save on desktop but nothing appears on my desktop. I ran scandisk, antivirus, nothing,, any input would be great, thanks a lot
Are you sure that you're saving to desktop and not some other damnable place it's reverting to as the default? [like My Documents]
The files aren't on your computer if you search for them?
have you ever downloaded anything before like a torrent and if so do u have a torrentloader like utorrent or azerous ....... cuz it will do that if u have not a torrent loader ....... and if its from another website just being a link to its page to get the rar or zip ...... do you have winrar or anything of that matter because you can get same effects ..... and like cheapprick sayed are you sure you have it checked and are actually making sure its going to the area of your computer that you are trying to download to
Any Windows problems is easly fixed with a gun or baseball bat ......
What browser are you using?
what BT client server are you using?

reinstall browser and run registry mechanic if you have that
here "should" be written something very smart and wise
I've had that problem..don't know what causes it but to get the items to show up on my desktop I have to right-click an open area on the desktop and then select 'arrange items by type' before things that I have downloaded to my desktop will show up.
Another windows mystery....UNSOLVED.
