hello people could anyone guide me to a fully free registry fixer

I use crap cleaner.

But I also like to check the integrity of my windows files so I also click run and type sfc /scannow from time to time too.

I've used crapcleaner for awhile.I recently started using regseeker also.It finds stuff crap cleaner misses and vice versa.I've used a lot of different registry cleaners for the learning experience and I've screwed my registry up enough times that I have settled on this combo as the safest,easiest and best for me.I run Tuneup utilities also and it has a registry cleaning feature but unfortunately it is not free

Any p2p network will have free ones. Regmechanic is the popular one, and i use it.

BUUUUTTTT

Once you start messing with your registry...you are getting close to a full reload of windows.

Thats just my opinion...from my experience.

You should be ok if you make regular registry backups.

I was just reminded of this thread and came back to add something.On an XP machine that is exactly one month old (OS install date 1-21-06),has never had regseeker run on it and has been used only moderately I first ran tuneup2006,then crapcleaner.After I removed all those results I ran regseeker and got a whopping 209 items!
Even I am surprised at that.
