    try admin \ admin

IF this doesnt work try admin \ *blank - no pwd*

If that doesnt work, I would like for you to unpower this router, and depress the reset button thru the tiny hole with a pen. While holding in, power up, and keep depressed at least 10 seconds, and look for an unusually flashing of the lights, then let go.

When you are successful, you should try admin \ *blank*

You could try searching for the default password for your router and then try that out. If that dosent work, find the reset button as Krell already said.

Learn to port forward with the Belkin setup, and learn how to set up a DMZ . . . thats what you need to do, its a fairly straightforward thing to know, that you need to do those 2 things. What do you want, for me to do it remotely for you?

    RTFM

:D maybe you should try crisco instead of cisco?

it has one....every router has one and if you type your router model and number with default password in google it will tell you the same. If it is not in your manual or you cannot look it up then return it and get a linksys...easiest routers to set-up.

That one comes passworded too....they all do

the only way then is to hold reset for about a minute and set back to default.
If this will not work...I can't think of anything else to say.

You call your internet provider who supplied it and they can find your password. I have 2wire and sbcglobal. I click on forgotten password and it gives me a long number to give to the people over the phone. Then they set it upwith a temp password that will change in 15 minutes. So i would have to change my password by then.

Do not use dmz as this allows full access to your comp. Look for nat, port settings on your router, you will need to open a public port and a set a corresponding internal trigger port.

Belkin 2000 doesnt seem to exist, what is the correct model number of your router, you could try here.
